Carson-Newman Volleyball Faces Lenoir-Rhyne at 2008 SAC Tournament

Rock Hill, S.C. - The pairings for the 2008 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament have been released and the second seeded Lady Eagles will face the seventh seed, Lenoir-Rhyne. This match will take palce on Thursday, November 13 at 5 p.m. at Stanford Arena on the campus of Mars Hill College, the host of this year's conference tournament.
The winner of this match will advance to the semifinals and will face the winner of the Catawba/Lincoln Memorial match. The semifinal match will be played on Friday, November 14.
Carson-Newman has faced Lenoir-Rhyne twice during regular season play. In Jefferson City, the Lady Eagles won with a 3-1 score. At Lenoir-Rhyne, Carson-Newman captured a 3-0 victory.
Carson-Newman finished second in regular season conference play finishing 11-5 in SAC play. The Lady Eagles are currently 23-13 overall.
