JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman's Felicia Frick will represent her home country of Liechtenstein over the next few months as they aim to quality for the 2027 Women's World Cup.
Frick will compete with Liechtenstein in World Cup qualifiers over the next few months. The qualifiers begin on March 3rd as Liechtenstein battles Lithuania. Just a few days later, they will travel for a road game against Bosnia on March 7th.
Overall, she will compete in six games total, two against each team in their group. Estonia is the fourth team in Liechtenstein's group. Second round action is in April with the final round set for June.
Frick's final year with C-N was a career year, scoring six goals and adding three assists for a career-best 15-point season. 12 of those 15 points were in SAC play, where she recorded five goals and two assists. Half of Frick's goals came in her final home game at McCown Field. She recorded the program's first hat trick since 2021 in a 4-0 shutout win over Tusculum. Frick scored penalty kick goals in the 10th and 68th minutes as part of her three-goal game.
The Eschen, Liechtenstein native is Carson-Newman's best penalty kick taker in program history. Scoring four more penalty kick goals in 2025, Frick ended her career a perfect 11 for 11 from the spot, shattering the program's record that was originally five by Lara Hallgrimsdottir during her four-year career. She ends her Eagles career with 15 career goals, 10 career assists over 65 appearances.
