Fall Frosty Awards Nominees: Female Newcomer of the Year
From now until Jan. 3, the Carson-Newman Athletic Communications Department will debut the Frosty Award nominees for the fall semester. These are the fall nominees for Female Newcomer of the Year. Sunday, we'll unveil the candidates for Male Newcomer of the Year.

The 13th annual Frosty Awards will take place April 28 and honor athletic excellence in Carson-Newman's athletic department.

Raychel Ehlers (Volleyball)
Ehlers produced 1.63 kills a set while hitting .230 after transferring to Carson-Newman from Coastal Carolina. An all-around player, she tallied 14 service aces, 2.72 digs a set and 19 total blocks. She finished fourth on the team in points per set. She topped double-digit kills four times, including a season-high 15 against North Greenville.
Audrey Gallagher (Soccer)
Gallagher did not make her C-N debut until the seventh game of the year, but the Southwest Minnesota State transfer went on to record three assists, tied for the second-most on the team and start nine matches in C-N's midfield. The Houston, Texas native assisted on goals in wins over Young Harris, Wingate and Tusculum.
Savannah Schultz (Cross Country)
Schultz joined the Eagles women's cross country squad this fall. Schultz started off the season strong but had to fight through persistent injuries throughout the season. Shultz looks to make a pick up next season strong.
