Volleyball
Volleyball finished the season 24-6 overall and 14-4 in conference play, its best record since 2022. With their wins in the non-conference schedule combined with their SAC record, the Eagles managed to host and win their first SAC Playoff game since 2022 and make their 10th NCAA Tournament appearance. What's more, C-N recorded their first reverse sweep since 2023 and opened the season 10-0; that was the best start of any Carson-Newman team since 2007. Volleyball finished top 25 in the nation in win-loss percentage and helped sophomore Emerson Ahsmuhs to CNVB's third All-American selection ever, to go along with four all-conference selections.
Football
Carson-Newman rolled through its home schedule unbeaten and came up a game shy of a SAC title and the NCAA playoffs with a 7-3 record. The Eagles led the SAC in rushing yards and scoring defense. C-N's three losses were all by a touchdown or less.
Women's Soccer
Carson-Newman concluded the 2025 season with an 8-5-3 record. The program had its most All-SAC selections since 2022 (4), and its most first-team All-SAC selections (3) since 2018. The Eagles were one of seven DII teams to go perfect on penalty kicks in 2025.
Women's Cross Country
Women's Cross Country wrapped up the 2025 season with two members earning All-SAC and All-Region Honors and finishing fifth in the South Atlantic Conference and ninth in the Southeast Regional rankings. Jenna Pittman also collected the SAC Elite 23 Award for her outstanding academic achievements.
Women's Golf
The Eagles rank 38th nationally following their fall tournament schedule and posted better finishes against multiple ranked teams throughout the season. In the fall, the women achieved two top ten finishes, including a third-place finish at the Savannah Lake Invitational, where Emery Fisher won the individual medalist honors (the first since 2023) and finished above #17 Lander and #25 West Florida. With a 302.7 four-person scoring average, the Eagles currently hold the lowest team scoring average in Carson-Newman Women's Golf history.
