ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman women's soccer placed four players on the All-South Atlantic Conference teams headlined by three first team selections, announced Thursday afternoon by the league office.
All four All-SAC selections were seniors for Carson-Newman. Earning first-team honors are Molly Bukiewicz, Annika Fend and Felicia Frick. Selina Jud was named to the third team. For Bukiewicz, Fend and Jud, it was their first career All-SAC honor, while Frick collects her third career All-SAC accolade.
It's the most All-SAC selections for the program since receiving five during the 2022 season. C-N's four All-SAC selections were tied for the fourth-most.
Carson-Newman's three first team all-conference selections are the most for the program since having four in the 2018 season. The Eagles were one of three teams to place multiple individuals on the first team. C-N's three were the second-most first team honors.
"Delighted for all the players that were recognized as all-conference selections," Duffy said. "To have three on the first team is something special, as we haven't done that for a while. All four players deserve the recognition for their time, dedication, sacrifice and standards they have set for our program."
Bukiewicz, the team leader in goals, earns first team honors as a forward after scoring nine goals and adding three assists to lead the team with 21 points. Four of her nine goals were game-winning goals, the second-most in the SAC this season and ranked top 30 nationally as well. She ranked top five in the league in both goals and points during the season.
The Beavercreek, Ohio native scored goals in each of Carson-Newman's first seven wins of the season. One of her best games of the season was a brace against King on September 10th, finishing that contest with a career-high five points. She recorded at least one point in three of her final four games of the year.
"I'm really honored and humbled to be standing here," Bukiewicz said. "There were a lot of points in my career I really questioned continuing. I questioned what I could accomplish. It just goes back to my coaches and teammates behind me through everything. My family was a great support and then obviously my reliance on the Lord has been something that is huge for me through all of that. I'm really grateful to have this type of season to go out on."
Fend was one of four defenders named to the All-SAC first team this afternoon. The senior defender was a reliable piece of Carson-Newman's defense all season long. Her 1,401 minutes played were the most by an Eagle this season. She was also one of just two Eagles to start every game this season.
Defensively, Fend was one of several consistent defenders that led C-N to seven shutouts in 15 games this season. Not only was her presence felt on the defensive side, but on the offensive end as well. The Herxheim, Germany native scored two goals and led the Eagles with her five assists, three of which came during league games.
"It's a team sport and none of this would be possible without my teammates," Fend said. "I think they set me up for success this season. Each of them work so hard on the field every day. I'm just very thankful to share this with them and for them helping me be a better player every day as well."
After earning second and third team all-conference honors as a freshman and sophomore, Frick's performance on the field as a senior was enough to have her recognized on the first team for the first time in her career.
The senior midfielder had a career year, scoring six goals and adding three assists for a career-best 15 point season. 12 of those 15 points were in SAC play, where she recorded five goals and two assists. Half of Frick's goals came in her final home game at McCown Field. She recorded the program's first hat trick since 2021 in a 4-0 shutout win over Tusculum. Frick scored penalty kick goals in the 10th and 68th minutes as part of her three-goal game.
The Eschen, Liechtenstein native will be remembered the most for elite effort in penalty kick opportunities. Scoring four more penalty kick goals in 2025, Frick ends her career a perfect 11 for 11 from the spot, shattering the program's record that was originally five by Lara Hallgrimsdottir during her four-year career. She ends her Eagles career with 15 career goals, 10 career assists over 65 appearances.
"I just feel very very blessed," Frick said. "It's a great honor to receive this, but its not only my work the team did an amazing job helping me out. We had amazing games and won a lot of games too, and the results showed and it gave me the chance to actually achieve this award. I'm very thankful for all the people that have been with me. Finishing off my career with a first team honor is just amazing."
Jud rounds out Carson-Newman's All-SAC selections, being named a third team forward. It's her first career honor. Jud tied Frick for the second-most goals on the team with six this season, her most in a season with C-N. Along with the goals, she match her career-best in assists with two in 2025.
The senior forward scored four of her six goals in two games, recording a pair of braces in dominant wins over King and Mars Hill in the month of September. After the win over MHU, Jud scored the game-winner at Newberry to end the week with three goals in two road conference wins. She capped her final season in Mossy Creek with a goal in her final home game, scoring versus Tusculum in the 57th minute of a 4-0 shutout win.
The Wilderswil, Switzerland native ends her career with 17 goals, six assists and 40 career points over 66 games. She scored at least three goals in each of her four seasons with the Eagles.
