Browder goes back-to-back as SAC Elite 23 Award Winner
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman senior forward Jack Browder has been named the Men's Basketball Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award winner for a second straight year, the South Atlatnic Conference announced Thursday afternoon.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Carson-Newman senior forward Jack Browder has been named the Men's Basketball Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 Award winner for a second straight year, the South Atlatnic Conference announced Thursday afternoon.
Browder receives the honor for having the highest GPA at the site of the South Atlantic Conference men's basketball tournament.
Browder carries a 4.0 GPA with 121 credit hours complete toward his degree in business.
The league's player of the year, Browder averaged 25 points per game this season, the second-highest scoring season in SAC and Carson-Newman men's basketball history.
Browder is the first Eagle to win an Elite 23 Award this season. He represents the men's basketball program's only two winners of the award. Last year, Carson-Newman had five players recognized across all sports.
