Browder earns sixth career SAC Player of the Week honor
ROCK HILL, S.C. – For the second time this season and the sixth time in his career, Carson-Newman senior forward Jack Browder (Kingsport, Tenn.) has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – For the second time this season and the sixth time in his career, Carson-Newman senior forward Jack Browder (Kingsport, Tenn.) has been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Browder led Carson-Newman to a 2-0 week, with victories over Tusculum Wednesday night in overtime 69-60 and against Coker Friday afternoon 80-74.
Browder averaged 23.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists for the week. He shot 48.6 percent from the field.
He started his week with his 35th career double-double, going for 26 points and 14 rebounds against Tusculum. Browder followed that up with double-double number 36, a 21-point, 13-board foray against Coker.
The Kingsport, Tenn.-native surpassed 1,800 career points and 800 career rebounds in the wins, becoming the third active player in college basketball with those totals.
Browder also matched a career high with three blocks against Coker.
