Soccer Eagles move into the Top 25

JEFFERSON CITY - The Carson-Newman men's soccer team entered the NCAA Division II National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 poll, released Tuesday.
The Eagles are No. 25 after not being ranked last week. Carson-Newman is currently 8-2 overall and a perfect 5-0 in South Atlantic Conference play.
Lynn is the No. 1 team in this week's poll, followed by Midwestern State, Fort Lewwis, Cal State Los Angeles and Southern New Hampshire.
Carson-Newman will host conference rival Tusculum Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Pioneers (11-1-1, 3-1-1) are ranked seventh in the country.
