JEFFERSON CITY, TN-- The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles moved up one notch to #3 in this week's NSCAA/adidas Division II Poll and earned a #1 ranking in the Southeast region.
The Lady Eagles (3-0) have allowed just one goal this season and defeated then-nationally ranked Clayton State this past Sunday to avenge their 2005 defeat. C-N is one of three South Atlantic schools ranked in the Top 25. Tusculum is 13th and Catawba is 20th in this week's poll.
Carson-Newman battles Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday afternoon in Harrogate, TN before returning home to face USC Upstate on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4:30 p.m.
