Eagles move to 18th in Bushnell Golfweek Division II Coaches Poll

The Eagles finished seventh at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview two weeks ago at Mission Inn Resort & Golf Club in Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla. and finished ahead of two teams that appear ahead of C-N in the newest poll.
Carson-Newman is the highest ranked South Atlantic Conference team with the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial placed 20th. The Tusculum Pioneers appear in the receiving votes section of the poll with six.
Saint Leo is the top-ranked team in the nation by a single point over Chico State, but the Wildcats took home 10 first-place votes compared to the six given to the Lions. Nova Southeastern, West Florida and Lynn, who received three first-place votes, round out the top-five.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday morning with the first 18 holes of The Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech at the Sevierville Golf Club's River Course, which is a Division I tournament.
