2021 ETSU Invitational Cancelled
318 days after competing in the SAC Indoor Championships, the Carson-Newman Track & Field team will have to wait a little while longer to compete in 2021 as the ETSU Invitational has been cancelled.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – 318 days after competing in the SAC Indoor Championships, the Carson-Newman Track & Field team will have to wait a little while longer to compete in 2021 as the ETSU Invitational has been cancelled.
In a statement released by the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, "the meet was cancelled due to logistical challenges surrounding COVID-related concerns in our region."
With the cancellation of all events at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. being announced earlier in the week, the Eagles will look ahead to the Roanoke College Invitational in Salem, Va. on Jan. 29-30.
