Eagles Listed In NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Carson-Newman Men's Basketball team is 3rd in the nation in scoring offense according to this week's NCAA Division II statistics.
The Eagles (16-6, 7-4 SAC) are averaging 90.6 points per game, which leads the conference. C-N is one point per game behind second-place Pfeiffer and 8.5 points behind national-leader West Liberty State.
Carson-Newman is also listed in four other team and two individual categories. Carson-Newman is 9th in steals per game (10.3 spg.), 26th in three-point field goals per game (8.9), 40th in free-throw percentage (72.9%) and 49th in won-lost percentage (72.7%).
Junior Jesse McMurray (Weber City, Va.) is 22nd in three-point field goal percentage (44.7%) and 25th nationally in three-point field-goals per game (3.1).
The Eagles will be back on the home court Wednesday night for a match-up with Brevard. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
