Bio
2025 First Team All-SAC
2025 D2CCA First Team All-Region
2025 United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-Region
2025 (Senior): Fend earned her first career honors during her senior season, being named a first team all-conference defender and a third team all-region defender, the program's first all-region player since Abbie Zander in 2023. The senior defender was a reliable piece of Carson-Newman's defense all season long. Her 1,401 minutes played were the most by an Eagle this season. She was also one of just two Eagles to start every game this season. Defensively, Fend was one of several consistent defenders that led C-N to seven shutouts in 15 games this season. Not only was her presence felt on the defensive side, but on the offensive end as well. The Herxheim, Germany native scored two goals and led the Eagles with her five assists, three of which came during league games. Her five assists were the most on the team, helping her finish the year with nine points, the fourth-most on the club.
2024 (Junior): Made 12 starts in 14 games played as a junior. Started the first nine games of the year before missing a pair of games with an injury. C-N was 5-5-2 with Fend in the Starting XI. One of seven players to play over 1,000 minutes. Her first and only goal of the year was an Olimpico goal in a 4-1 win over Union on Sept 7. She totaled four shots, with half of them finding the target.
2023 (Sophomore): Was a fixture in C-N's Starting XI, starting 18 of the 19 games she played in. Played left back along Carson-Newman's back four defensively. Scored her first career goal in a 2-1 win over Newberry on Sept 30. Took five shots, two of which hit the target.
2022 (Freshman): Did not play, redshirted.
Personal: The daughter of Nicole and Patrick Fend....studying Business administration.
