Eagles Sit Tied for 10th After Day One of Tennessee River Rumble

In the first two rounds, the Eagles were led by Antonio Farinella, who sits tied for 33rd at 2-over. In round one, Farinella shot par on seven of the front nine holes and shot a bogey and a birdie to put him at even through the front nine. The back nine was similar but included two bogeys and birdies in addition to five holes at par, as Farinella shot an even 72 in round one.
Farinella started off strong in the second round with four birdies on the first six holes before two pars and a double bogey to round out the front nine. On the back nine, Farinella shot par on five holes, but three bogeys added two strokes to his total, with a score of 74 in round two.
Luke Stock and Nick Daugherty followed, sitting tied for 47th at 5-over.
Despite two bogeys near on holes one and four, Stock bounced back with two birdies on the final five holes and the other three at par. On the back nine, Stock notched a birdie to limit the damage of three bogeys to shoot a 74 in the first round.
In round two, Stock started off strong with four birdies on the front nine. On the back nine, Stock shot par on three holes, but four bogeys added a stroke to his total, shooting a 75 in round two.
Despite a double bogey to start his day, Daugherty settled in with two birdies on the next four holes. On the back nine, Daugherty shot par on six of the nine holes, as well as a birdie and two bogeys. Like Stock, Daugherty tallied a 74 in the first round.
In round two, Daugherty notched two birdies to compensate for an early bogey on the front nine. However, despite two early birdies on the back nine, Daugherty shot four of the final five holes over par to finish with a 75.
Aidan Powter and Steven Haremski are tied for 66th at 8-over. Powter had a solid front nine in round one, shooting two birdies and just one hole over par. On the back nine, he shot five holes over par to finish the round with a 78. Powter bounced back nicely in round two, making four birdies to overcome five holes over par to finish the round with a 74.
Haremski shot a solid first round, with four birdies to compensate for a handful of bogeys, a 74. In the second round, he shot par on 13 of the 18 holes, but five holes over par added four strokes to his first-round total, a 78.
The Eagles will return to the Windriver Golf Club for the final round of the Tennessee River Rumble tomorrow at 9 AM.
