Eagles Improve In Final Round of Fall Season at Copperhead Championship

NORTH PALM HARBOR, Fl. – The Carson-Newman men's golf team climbed one spot to 15th after day two of the Copperhead Championship, with multiple Eagles shooting their lowest round of the tournament.
Luke Stock led the Eagles, jumping 17 spots to tie for 37th after shooting a 72 in the final round. After a 77-stroke round one performance, Stock found his footing in the next two rounds with 72 strokes apiece to finish at 8-over par.
Like Stock, Elliot MacGregor shot his second consecutive 73 on the final 18 holes, jumping eight spots to tie for 50th. With the solid round three performance, MacGregor finished the two-day event at 10-over.
Nick Daugherty slots in tied for 63rd at the conclusion of the event, shooting a 77 in the final round. Daugherty finished at 13-over.
Noah Cambridge tied for 70th with a 78-stroke performance in the final round to finish at 16-over. To round out the Eagles, Antonio Farinella moved to 87th with his best tournament round in the final 18 holes, shooting a 76. With the solid day two performance, Farinella finished at 23-over.
After an improved second day, the Eagles shift their focus to the spring season.
