"They will meet in two weeks to discuss where everyone stands," head coach Randy Wylie said. "The next two tournaments are big to bolster our case."
C-N is joined by four other South Atlantic Conference schools under consideration, such as Coker, Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne, and Lincoln Memorial, all of which are in position for a possible selection.
The Eagles have competed in one event in the spring, playing the Saint Leo Invitational in Dade City, Florida, back on February 19th and 20th. In the event, the Eagles notched a pair of top-30 finishers in Noah Cambridge and Luke Stock, helping C-N to an 11th-place finish.
The Eagles can improve their standing next week, as they will tee off for the first time in just under a month, heading to the Ralph Hargett Invitational in Monroe, North Carolina, on Monday and Tuesday.
