Carson-Newman's Sullivan earns SAC Player of the Week honors

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Carson-Newman junior guard Antonio Sullivan (Louisville, Ky.) has been named the South Atlantic Conference men's basketball Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday.
Sullivan scored 16 points in a pair of conference victories for the Eagles.
He had 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Eagles to a 73-71 win at Mars Hill. He also had a pair of rebounds and one steal.
Sullivan closed out the week with 16 points to help C-N collect a 75-71 victory at Anderson. He also pulled down four rebounds against the Trojans.
Sullivan, who has reached double figures in scoring in nine straight games, leads C-N in scoring this season with an average of 13.7 points per game.
Sullivan and the Eagles have won four straight games to improve to 8-8 on the season and 5-3 in SAC play. C-N returns to action at home on Wednesday against No. 10 Lincoln Memorial. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. at Holt Fieldhouse.
