Eagles get involved in Operation Christmas Child
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman men's basketball team put aside it's preparation for the 2010-11 season on Thursday to take part in Operation Christmas Child.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman men's basketball team put aside it's preparation for the 2010-11 season on Thursday to take part in Operation Christmas Child.
The Eagles bought school supllies, personal hygiene items and toys and packed them in shoe boxes to send to the the children in Haiti.
Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest Christmas project, which is organized by the Samaritan's Purse ministry. The special shoe box gifts are sent to nearly eight million children in more than 130 countries each year.
