Women's Golf Finishes Fifth in L-R Invitational

Little River, S.C. - The Carson-Newman women's golf team finished 5th overall with a team score of 674 in the Lenoir-Rhyne Intercollegiate Invitational hosted in Little River, S.C. The tournament was held at the River Hills Golf and Country Club.
During the first round of play, the Lady Eagles finished with a team score of 331 and shot a 343 in the second round.
Individually, junior Sarah Jane Sinard (Jefferson City, Tenn.) finished 11th with a weekend score of 161. She was followed by a 15th place finish by freshman Jennifer Oliver (Knoxville, Tenn.), who shot 163.
The Lady Eagles will finish their fall season on October 10 in the Aramark Invitational in Hendersonville, N.C.
