Carson-Newman returns to the NFCA Top 25 Coaches Poll
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - In the eighth edition of the NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, Carson-Newman (29-8, 8-4 SAC) returned to the rankings, coming in at No. 25.

This is the fifth week that Carson-Newman has been ranked inside the top 25; they have been involved in the last seven, including receiving votes last week. The Eagles have peaked as high as No. 18 this season, marking the highest ranking for the Eagles since March 14th, 2022, when the team was also at No. 18.
The Eagles are one of two teams from the South Atlantic Conference included in the poll this week and are one of three teams from the region. No. 3 North Georgia (Peach Belt) is the highest, with Francis Marion at No. 14 and Lenoir-Rhyne dropping to No. 19.
Carson-Newman is back in action tomorrow afternoon at Newberry (12-18, 3-7 SAC). Game one in the Palmetto State is set for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch from the Smith Road Complex.
