Weather in the Tar Heel State changes schedule of Triangle Classic
RALEIGH, N.C. - The weather in the Raleigh, North Carolina area has cancelled the first day of the Triangle Classic. No. 21 Carson-Newman was slated to play Frostburg State and Chowan this afternoon. The games had already been pushed back to later in the day due to the anticipated weather.
RALEIGH, N.C. - The weather in the Raleigh, North Carolina area has cancelled the first day of the Triangle Classic. No. 21 Carson-Newman was slated to play Frostburg State and Chowan this afternoon. The games had already been pushed back to later in the day due to the anticipated weather. Now C-N will play three games on Saturday all in consecutive fashion.
Tomorrow, the Eagles are seeing more changes, now starting with a noon meeting against Davis & Elkins. C-N took down the Senators on February 9th, 5-1, in Johnson City at the Big Region Preseason Preview. The one game that remains unchanged is at 2:00 p.m. against Lincoln (Pa.). The day closes with a 4:00 p.m. showdown with West Virginia Wesleyan.
