Eagles Sit in 8th After Second Round at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Eagles are in 8th place following the second round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate. The team shot 348 to finish the day at 97-over, with the final round left to be played on Tuesday.

Following a solid first round, freshman Macy Bromley shot the Eagles' best round of the day, an 80 in round two to finish the day in 11th. Despite nine holes over par, Bromley had just as many at or below par, including a bogey on hole eight. Right outside the top ten, Bromley can climb the leaderboard with a solid performance in the final round.
Emery Fisher finished the day in 26th, matching her first-round total with an 81. In round two, Fisher shot two birdies, including one to end the day on hole 18, finishing the round on a high note.
Closely following was Parker Miller, shooting an 85 in round two to sit in 35th after day two. Like Fisher, Miller finished strong with a birdie on hole 18 to build momentum heading into the final round.
Ella Whaley rounds out the Eagles, shooting a 102 in the second round to finish the day in 56th. Despite a tough round for Whaley, she tallied a birdie on the back nine.
Alice Thomas did not finish the round following an injury.
With the final round awaiting, the youthful Eagle lineup will look to finish strong on day three, starting on Tuesday at 9 AM.
