Travel issues nix C-N's Friday night game at Lander
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - A burst water pipe at Carson-Newman's original team hotel has forced C-N into cancelling its Friday night game against Lander at the Bearcat/Fleet Invitational.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - A burst water pipe at Carson-Newman's original team hotel has forced C-N into cancelling its Friday night game against Lander at the Bearcat/Fleet Invitational.
Carson-Newman was set to depart Jefferson City Friday morning when members of the coaching staff were notified that its hotel in Greenwood was cancelled due to flooding caused by a burst water pipe.
C-N will now take on USC Beaufort and Emmanuel Saturday at 9 and 11 a.m. respectively to wrap up the event.
