Softball shuffles weekend schedule
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Due to the threat of inclement weather in the greater Milledgeville, Ga.-area, Carson-Newman's foray to the Peach State to play at the Georgia College Invitational has been washed out.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Due to the threat of inclement weather in the greater Milledgeville, Ga.-area, Carson-Newman's foray to the Peach State to play at the Georgia College Invitational has been washed out.
However, the Eagles will still be playing a team it was scheduled to play this weekend. Instead of two neutral site games against Emmanuel, the Eagles will now take on the Lions at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Vickee Kazee-Hollifield Softball Complex.
Carson-Newman leads the all-time series between the two schools 2-0, winning both meetings last season at neutral site events.
Both games will be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network online at cneagles.com/live with a free audio stream. A paid video stream will be available through FloSports.
