Carson-Newman softball makes more schedule changes
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Weather continues to wreak havoc on C-N softball’s 2013 campaign. Two days after seeing a pair of games erased at the Mid-South Classic against Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic, Carson-Newman’s Wednesday doubleheader at Bellarmine has been cancelled.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Weather continues to wreak havoc on C-N softball's 2013 campaign. Two days after seeing a pair of games erased at the Mid-South Classic against Columbus State and Armstrong Atlantic, Carson-Newman's Wednesday doubleheader at Bellarmine has been cancelled.
However, the Eagles do have a replacement game ready. Now Carson-Newman will travel to Columbus State to play two Wednesday with the Cougars. First pitch is slated for noon.
The Cougars are 12-9 and have spent time in the top 25 of the NFCA poll. After five consecutive losses, the Cougars have won four straight, including three in a row over SAC competition.
