Carson-Newman softball’s opener with Belmont Abbey postponed and moved

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Due to the threat of inclement weather, Carson-Newman softball’s Saturday season-opening doubleheader with Belmont Abbey has been pushed back a day and moved to Belmont, N.C. Instead of a home game, the Eagles will make the trek to North Carolina to do battle with the Crusaders Sunday at 1 p.m. at Crusader Field.
