After day one, Macy Bromley and Madison Cline lead C-N, sitting tied for 25th at 4-over.
Despite an early bogey, Bromley shot six of the final eight holes at par on the front nine. The other two holes featured a birdie and a double bogey, sending the sophomore to the back nine at 2-over. Bromley was impressive on the back nine, stroking six pars and a pair of birdies to limit the impact of a late bogey to finish the round at 1-over.
In round two, Bromley had a back-and-forth front nine, stroking three birdies but mostly offsetting them with a pair of birdies and the rest of the holes at par to enter the back nine at 1-over. The sophomore carded a birdie and five pars on the back nine, but three bogeys added a pair of strokes to her total to finish the round at 3-over.
Cline carded all nine holes at par on the front nine in round one to enter the back nine at even-par. An early triple bogey on the back nine hurt Cline's tally, but seven pars and a birdie limited the harm to help the junior finish the round at 2-over.
The junior carded an early double bogey in round two, and a pair of birdies and bogeys offset to send Cline into the day's final stretch at 2-over. On the back nine, Cline canceled a pair of bogeys with a pair of birdies and the rest of the holes at par to finish the round at 2-over.
Ida Petersen slots in at 48th after day one, shooting a 79 in round one and a 74 in round two to finish the day at 9-over. Petersen's first-round front nine featured six holes above par, but two birdies limited the damage and sent her to the back nine at 7-over. Petersen carded all nine holes at par on the back nine to finish the round at 7-over.
The junior jumped ten spots with an improved second round. Petersen's front nine featured a pair of bogeys, birdies, and the other holes at par to start the final stretch at even-par. Petersen carded three bogeys on the back nine, but a birdie in the middle of the round helped her total to finish the round at 2-over.
Emery Fisher comes next for C-N, placing 57th after a 77-stroke first round and a 79 in round two. Fisher was fairly consistent on the front nine, stroking seven pars, but two bogeys sent her to the back nine at 2-over. On the back nine, the sophomore carded three more bogeys and six pars to finish the round at 5-over.
On the front nine in round two, Fisher had four holes over par to enter the back nine at 7-over. On the back nine, the sophomore offset a double bogey with two birdies and six pars to finish the round at 7-over.
Rounding out C-N on day one is Anaella Picot, sitting in 62nd after a pair of 79s to end the day at 14-over. Picot started the day nicely with two birdies on her first four holes, but a double bogey down the stretch sent her to the back nine at even-par. On the back nine, five holes over par added seven strokes to her total to finish the round at 7-over.
In round two, Picot strokes two birdies on the front nine, but a triple bogey and an early bogey sent her to the final stretch at 2-over. Picot added five strokes on five birdies on the back nine to finish the round at 7-over.
C-N will look to finish the fall season strong with the final round of the DII Currahee Elite Invitational, starting tomorrow at 8 AM.
