C-N Puts Together Another Solid Round, Finishes in 6th at LeeAnn Noble Memorial

C-N recorded a 293-stroke total as a team, the same as the first two rounds, producing three consistent rounds across the board to secure a solid finish.
Madison Cline led the Eagles in the third round, climbing 25 spots and tying her personal-best round with a 69 to finish the event in 19th at 2-over. Despite two early bogeys on the front nine, Cline was stellar on the back end, notching three birdies and the other holes at par to enter the final stretch at 1-under. She dropped a pair of strokes on the back nine, stroking three birdies to overcome a bogey and finish the round at 3-under.
Ida Petersen jumped 12 spots on day two, notching a 73-stroke third round to finish the event in 29th at 5-over. Petersen had a solid front nine, tallying a birdie and six holes at par, but two bogeys sent the junior to the final stretch at 1-over. Petersen canceled a bogey and a double bogey with a trio of birdies on the back nine to finish the round at 1-over.
Annaelle Picot, Macy Bromley, and Emery Fisher all finished tied for 39th after the final round of action.
Picot climbed six spots on the final day, notching a 74-stroke third round to finish at 8-over. Picot stroked three bogeys on the front nine but added a birdie and the other holes at par to enter the back nine at 2-over. Despite an early bogey and double bogey, she stroked three late bogeys to finish the round at 2-over.
Macy Bromley tallied a 77-stroke final round to finish the event at 8-over. The sophomore added four strokes on the front nine with four bogeys but limited the damage with the other holes at par. Bromley notched two birdies but three bogeys on the back nine, adding a stroke to her total to finish the round at 5-over.
Sophomore Emery Fisher scored a 79 in the final round to finish the tournament at 8-over. Fisher followed three bogeys with a birdie, but a late triple bogey sent her into the final stretch at 5-over. Fisher was consistent on the back nine with seven pars, but a double bogey added a pair of strokes to finish the round at 7-over.
After a solid team performance, the Eagles will take a few weeks off before rounding out their fall season at the D2 Currahee Elite Invitational in Toccoa, Georgia, on October 28th and 29th.
