JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Carson-Newman baseball team will
finish up its individual, lifting and conditioning workouts this
Friday.
The start of fall practice will begin on Sunday, Sept. 27th at 2
p.m. The Eagles will have seven seniors leading them to improve
upon a disappointing 2009 season, where the Eagles finished the
regular season 24-21 overall.
The team will have 41 players starting the fall, with fifteen
freshman and four transfers.
On the upcoming fall, C-N head coach Tom Griffin says, "We are all
looking forward to starting on Sunday. We have added a lot of depth
to each position and their will be many battles for several
positions. I am very pleased how our returning players have handled
the first four weeks of the fall. I know they will be focused and
eager to improve upon last years results."
