2024 (Freshman): Played all games but one in her freshman season. Her 292 kills was second among Eagles players by 1 and she landed 6th among all other SAC players. A consistent presence at the net, Hurst logged 16 games with double-digit kills highlighted by a career high 19 kills in her third game in an Eagles uniform against Union (Tenn.). Her dominance over the season earned her multiple accolades including SAC Freshman of the Year. She is the first Eagle to earn the honor since Natalie Harris in 2015. The AVCA also recognized her as the Southeast Region Freshman of the Year. She is the first Eagle to recieve that honor.
