"Both teams serve received well tonight. It really came down to who
made the least amount of errors. No one player stood out for either
team but LMU did the little things that made the difference in the
end," said Head Coach Shannon Mincey. "The crowd was very into the
match and it was a good opportunity for our freshmen to experience
a tough South Atlantic Conference playing environment."
In the first set, the two teams battled to a 19-19 tie before LMU
went on to go up 1-0 in the match. Senior Katie Troyer (Plain City,
Ohio) had four kills in the stanza for C-N.
