Bio

PRIOR TO C-N: Abinaya was a decorated player before her time at Carson-Newman. She has been honored with the President's Award by Mr. Vijay Amritraj from Tamil Nadu Tennis Association for the Most Promising Youngster 2018-2019 and took 2nd Place at the All India Inter University Tennis Tournament (2024–2025) most recently. Sweeton was 2-1 in her matches at the Tennis Temple UTR Edition 62 Tournament, a 3-0 record at the Edition 64 tournament and a 5-1 record in UTR Torurnaments in 2022. She was also a part of teams that took 2nd in the South Zone Inter University Tennis Tournament from 2023-2025. Shr has won golf medals at the University of Madras A-Zone Inter College Competition from 2023-2024. She also received gold medals at the YMCA Buck Inter University Tennis Tournament in 2023 and the WCC Inter University Tennis Tournaments. She was published in the newspaper for the Stunning Performance in the Asian Tennis Federation Matches, and is accomplished in her academics, earning a proficiency certificate for scoring 100/100 in Commerce, Economics & Computer Applications (12th Board, 2022). She was a National Level Participant at the SpellBee International Competition and has a Grade 1 Piano with Merit from Trinity College London.

 

PERSONAL: Abinaya is the daughter of Sweeton Ebiraj Samuel.
