Rehm selected to represent Virgin Islands in CONCACAF U-20 Women's Tournament

CURACAO- Current Carson-Newman women's soccer sophomore goalkeeper Jenna Rehm (Old Hickory, Tenn.) has made her way to Curacao as part of the U20 national team selected for the United States Virgin Islands ahead of the CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship this week.
"Incredibly proud of Jenna to get this opportunity and go and represent the Virgin Islands at the U20 level," Carson-Newman head coach Simon Duffy said. "It's an amazing experience for any player."
Rehm flew down to join her national team members on Sunday after helping support her teammates in the 1-1 draw against Trevecca Nazarene last Saturday. The USVI U20 national team have been slotted a spot in Group A. The USVISA Lady Dashing Eagles are in Group A along with Bermuda and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Rehm and the USVI kick off their campaign against Bermuda at 5:30 p.m. Monday night. From there, the team will move onto Wednesday and play St. Vincent and the Grenadines to wrap up group play. After round robin play concludes, each group winner will advance to knockout stage of action of the championships.
In the CONCACAF U20 Women's Tournament, the action is scheduled to go from September 11 through September 16, 2021. The winner, runner-up and third place teams will also secure a berth to the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica.
