GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. - Looking to move up in the rankings, the Carson-Newman fishing club heads to Lake Guntersville in Alabama for the Abu Garcia College Fishing Southeastern Conference Stop #2.
The Eagles currently sit at fourth in the national rankings with 12,615 points.
Last time out at the ACA Pickwick Slam, Cole Rankin and Ewing Minor finished the weekend hauling in 10 fish for 30.25 pounds to finish the weekend at 26th place. The team ended up hauling in 33 fish for 96.20 pounds at the event.
Following this weekend's event, the Eagles will head to Lake Cumberland, Ky. for the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series presented by Bass Pro Shops.
