Bio
2023 (Junior): Played in 28 matches, starting in 18. Collected 220 kills, 21 service aces, and 72 digs, hitting .141 on the season. Demolished her career-high in kills earning 18 in the five-set win over Emory & Henry on Oct. 27. Had a standout match in the 3-1 win over Mars Hill on Sept. 29 with 12 kills, seven service aces, and three blocks to take down the Lions.
2022 (Sophomore): Played in 17 matches and 31 sets registering 41 kills hitting .211... Piled up seven smashes on 15 swings in a sweep of Auburn-Montgomery on Sept. 2... Hit .500 with a team-high seven kills in a sweep at Catawba on Oct. 1.
2021 (Freshman): Hit the floor nine times with 16 sets played... Earned her first-career start in a sweep of UVA Wise piling up an ace and a solo block with four kills... Her season-high for kills came the match before with five at Tusculum on Sept. 24.
HIGH SCHOOL: Adams is a two-time team MVP from Eastside High School earning a spot on the first-team all-region unit three times. In 2017, the team reached the playoffs before advancing to the Sweet 16 in her junior and senior seasons. Adams was a member of the National Honors Society and is an avid CrossFit competitor ranking in the 50 in the World in 2018.
Her father, Lawrence, was a two-time Major League Baseball draft selection out of Florida Gateway College. He was taken in the 26th round of the 1996 MLB Draft and played 50 games in the minor leagues.

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2023 Academic All-District teams on Tuesday afternoon, with Taylor Adams, Emmagrace Cobb, Julia Wheeler, and Skylor Weaver making the selection.
