Lady Eagles face top-seeded Wingate in SAC Tournament on Friday
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles are the No. 8 seed and face top-seeded and unbeaten Wingate University on Friday afternoon in the 2011 Fool Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament played at Mars Gymnasium in Harrogate, Tenn.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles are the No. 8 seed and face top-seeded and unbeaten Wingate University on Friday afternoon in the 2011 Fool Lion South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Tournament played at Mars Gymnasium in Harrogate, Tenn.
The Lady Eagles and Bulldogs open the tournament with the noon match. The winner will face the winner of No. 4 Tusculum and No. 5 Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday in the semifinals at 1:30 p.m.
Other quarterfinal round match-ups include: No. 2 Catawba College vs. No. 7 Newberry College and No. 3 Lincoln Memorial vs. No. 6 Mars Hill College.
Carson-Newman faced Wingate twice this season. The Bulldogs won both meetings.
