Bio
2024 (Freshman): Torrent was an instant impact as a freshman, being just one of three players to start and play in all 16 games. He totaled 13 points, scoring three goals and adding seven assists, the most on the team and fifth-most in the SAC. It wasn't until game five when he scored his first career points, scoring and assisting on both goals in C-N's first win of 2024, a 2-0 win over West Alabama. The rookie would go on to score multiple points in three other games, highlighted by a four-point day against Newberry on Oct 23. He scored once and assisted on two of C-N's seven other goals in a 8-0 victory. Later that week, he matched his season-high in assists, assisting on both of C-N's goals in a 2-1 victory over Wingate. The forward played more than 70 minutes in nine of his 16 appearances and totaled 1,135 minutes on the pitch. He tied for the most shots on the team with 35, with 11 of those finding goal.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference announced its all-conference honors Thursday afternoon, with Carson-Newman having three of its players be recognized.
Carson-Newman (3-9-3, 3-6-1 SAC) scored its latest goal of the season at the best time. Antoine Torrent booted home an 86th minute to lift C-N past Tusculum 2-1 on Wednesday night at McCown Field.
Carson-Newman (2-9-3, 2-6-1 SAC) reset season-highs in shots and shots on goal, but was shutout by fifth-ranked Anderson (9-1-4, 6-1-2 SAC) on Saturday night at McCown Field.
Maxime Wester’s first goal of the 2025 season could not have come at a better time. The junior scored his third career goal in the 58th minute and the Carson-Newman (2-8-3, 2-5-1 SAC) defense held Wingate (2-7-3, 2-3-3 SAC) scoreless in the second half to collect its second road win of the season on Saturday afternoon at Pride Park.

In the highest scoring game of the South Atlantic Conference season, it was Lincoln Memorial (5-7-1, 5-2-1 SAC) overcoming a pair of deficits to defeat Carson-Newman (1-8-3, 1-5-1 SAC) 4-3 on Wednesday night in Harrogate.
For the second time in conference play this season, Carson-Newman (1-7-3, 1-4-1 SAC) fell behind early because of a pair of goals and never recovered, falling to Lenoir-Rhyne (5-4-2, 4-2-2 SAC) 3-0 on Saturday evening at McCown Field.
Carson-Newman suffered its (1-6-2, 1-3 SAC) third loss in South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday night, seeing Emory & Henry (3-3-2, 2-2-1) score the game’s only goal in the 81st minute to seal the win.
Carson-Newman (1-5-2, 1-2 SAC) scored an early and late goal to take down one of the 29 remaining unbeaten teams in DII, defeating Newberry (4-1-1, 1-1-1 SAC) 2-1 on Saturday evening at the Smith Road Complex.
In its final non-conference game of the season, Carson-Newman (0-5-2) played the final 70 minutes at a disadvantage and saw Montevallo (1-2-2) score three unanswered goals to drop a Monday afternoon affair at McCown Field.
For the first time since 2020, Carson-Newman will play a true road game to start the 2025 season as it heads to Nashville to clash with Trevecca Nazarene on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.
