No typo, fans strongly encouraged NOT to attend men's basketball game against Lander
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - We wish this was a joke, but Carson-Newman's athletic department is strongly encouraging fans NOT to attend the Eagles' New Years' Eve showdown with Lander.

On Christmas Eve, a water main at the front entryway to the Maddox Student Activities center burst and flooded much of the complex. Workers have moved feaverishly to get everything cleaned up, however, there are still large areas that are not fit for the general public.
Should fans want to attend, they are more than welcome to. However, they should be mindful of the mess they are walking into. While Holt Fieldhouse proper was largely unscathed, the rest of the MSAC was not.
Fans will not be allowed to enter or exit through the front of the MSAC barring emergency evacuations. Instead, fans should plan to enter through the side doors adjacent to the Branner Ave parking lot.
Furthermore, the only restrooms that will be open are the ones in the grand hall of the MSAC. The POD and Chik-Fil-A will be closed and there is no access to the first floor of the building.
Again, and we can't stress this enough, if you are coming, we'll gladly have you, but please stay home and either watch or listen to the game at cneagles.com/live or cneagles.com/flombb.
