Bio
2025: Indoor - Won the 800m at the Finn Pincus Invitational with a 2:30.60 to start the season. Would later set her PR in the mile at the Music City Challenge, clocking a 5:11.88. At the SAC Championships, she would finish in 15th in the 3000m and also set her PR with a 10:29.14.
Outdoor - Began the year with a PR in the 5000m at the Lee University Invitational with a time of 18:09.74. Set her PR in the 800m with a 2:22.22 at the Fast Break Athletics Invitational. Had her best finish of the year, claiming fourth at the App State Open in the mile. In the SAC Championships, Pittman notched a tenth-place finish in the 5000m and set a PR in the 1500m with a 4:48.84.
2024: Indoor - First-place finish in the 3000m at the Bast-Cregger Multi Invitational with a time of 10:54.91, but improved on her time, setting her current PR just about two months later, shaving seven seconds off at the VMI Invitational. Set her PR in the 5000m while placing fourth at the Finn Pincus Invitational with a time of 19:12.04. Placed her PR in the mile at the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 5:19.50 while placing ninth in the event.
Outdoor - Shined at the Catamount Classic, where she set individual bests in both the 800m and 1500m with times of 2:23.04 and 4:54.34, respectively. Was a part of the 4x400m team that placed sixth at the SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
NOTES: Also competes for Carson-Newman Cross Country.
HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Dale Boring and Daniel Dudley as a Rooster at Cocke County High School. Pittman was also involved in soccer, cross country, Beta Club, FCA, Key Club, HOSA, the National Honor Society, and Student Council throughout her high school career. She did not begin running until her sophomore year of high school, but was later the 2021 Twin Lakes Conference Champion in the 4x800, 1600, 800, and 3200. Pittman earned State Distinction, Work Ethic Distinction, CTE HOSA Letterman, and Academic Excellence Award.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kelvin and Jeannie Pittman. Intends to major in Nursing at Carson-Newman.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. - Ahead of the Division II Outdoor National Championships, Carson-Newman had a school record, with countless personal and season-best marks at the Lee University Last Chance. It marked the final event before nationals begin on May 21st in Emporia, Kansas.
Another week of Carson-Newman track and field testing itself against premier athletes from around the country. The Eagles sent their top athletes to the Georgia Tech Invitational, and once again, more school records fell.
After a week off for a majority of the team, Carson-Newman outdoor track and field did not have to travel too far to get back in action. The Eagles kicked off day one at the Tennessee Invite in Knoxville and the Scots Invitational, hosted by Maryville Invitational.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Following a quaint and restful Easter weekend where six athletes competed at two events, Carson-Newman returns to full force with a pair of events in the Volunteer State. Athletes will either head to the UT Invite in Knoxville or the Scots Invitational, hosted by Maryville College.
CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Despite the six-day turnaround, Carson-Newman put together a solid weekend at the Lee University Invitational.
