EMPORIA, Ks. – On the first day of the Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, Carson-Newman made its mark with two sprinters and a relay team advancing to the finals on Saturday.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Five members of Kieran Showler-Davis’ track & field team are off to the Division II Outdoor National Championships this week in Emporia, Kansas. Amine Kasmi (Brussels, Belgium), Rylan Jordan (Johnson City, Tenn.), Favour Ekpekpe (Nigeria) and Taylor Madison (Sevierville, Tenn.) are going for the men, with Lovelyne Larrame (Cormeilles-en-Parisis, France) heading for the women.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) announced Wednesday afternoon that eight members of the Carson-Newman track & field team earned All-Region status for their efforts during the 2026 outdoor season.

After a week off for a majority of the team, Carson-Newman outdoor track and field did not have to travel too far to get back in action. The Eagles kicked off day one at the Tennessee Invite in Knoxville and the Scots Invitational, hosted by Maryville Invitational.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Following a quaint and restful Easter weekend where six athletes competed at two events, Carson-Newman returns to full force with a pair of events in the Volunteer State. Athletes will either head to the UT Invite in Knoxville or the Scots Invitational, hosted by Maryville College.
In an action-packed weekend, Carson-Newman outdoor track and field splintered to three different events in a pair of states. It was a strong weekend, with plenty of personal records and bests being set for the Eagles.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Four members of the Carson-Newman women's track & field team have been named SAC Athletes to watch in the upcoming outdoor season, the league office announced Friday. School record holder in the 200m and 400m, Lovelyne Larrame and senior jumper Brooke Taylor are the two veterans of the group, while Katie Edmunds and Keirieonna Wilson are both in their freshman years.
