2015 (Senior): Became the second C-N volleyball player to win the Scholar Athlete since the SAC began awarding the honor in 1991 joining Shylon Whitley in 1996…Became the first volleyball Eagle to be named an Academic All-District pick…Finished with the 10th-most kills in a single season on the school’s list with 424…Piled up 10 double-doubles on the year…Ranked 3rd in the SAC in total kills (424), 3rd in total points (489.5), 3rd in the SAC and 40th nationally with 49 service aces, 6th in kills per set (3.09) and 7th in points per set (3.57)…Led the team in kills nine times while recording 20 matches with at least 10 kills…Tallied a career-high 20 kills in her hometown on Sept. 19 at Queens (N.C.)…Piled up a career best 22 points on Sept. 22 against Lincoln Memorial with 19 kills and two service aces…Had a career-high 21 digs against Mars Hill on Nov. 15…Piled up 18 kills on a .381 attack percentage in the National Quarterfinals against Wayne State (Nebraska) on Dec. 10.

2013 (Sophomore): Started five of the 24 matches she competed in for the Eagles... Hit .104 with 27 kills and four blocks on the year... Had multiple kills in seven matches with a pair of four kill contests (September 14 v. North Greenville and October 15 at Mars Hill)... Had multiple digs in eight matches led by a six dig performance on September 21 at Anderson (S.C.)... Notched a pair of service aces at Brevard on October 12
2012 (Freshman): Saw action in 14 matches for the Eagles during her freshman campaign. Contributed six kills on 20 swings. Had her six kills spaced out across six matches.
High School: Sara led her South Mecklenburg High School team with 4.3 kills per set and held the highest serving percentage for her team, started as a varsity player all 4 years and was Southwestern two-time 4A All-Conference member. She holds a 4.67 gpa and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sabres Stand Against Indifference, Student Government, National Honor Society, National Beta Club, and Spanish Honor Society. She has taken overseas missions trips to Nicaragua and Kingston Jamaica.
