Bio
2023 (Freshman): Starting eight of the final nine games of the season, Nielsen was an impactful freshman for Simon Duffy’s NCAA tournament team. The forward scored three goals and added one assist. Her first collegiate goal came in her first collegiate game, a 5-3 rout of North Greenville on Aug 31. Nielsen’s third and final goal of the year helped start a comeback against Anderson in the SAC Quarterfinals on Nov 4th. Half of her 30 shots were on target this season. Made apperances in 18 of the 19 games and had 11 total starts.
Prior to Carson-Newman: Nielson was an integral part of a team that was named "the best team of the town in 2018, 2020 and 2022. Nielson made sixteen total appearances.
