2021 All-SAC Third Team
2022 All-SAC First Team
2022: Named an All-SAC first-team selection. Appeared in 16 games, making 14 starts. Tied for the team lead with four goals in her sophomore season and also recorded three assists. Her first goal of the season helped C-N tie Ohio Dominican on Aug 27.
2021 (Fall): Named an All-SAC third-team selection. Made 16 starts and appearances in her debut season. Netted the second-most goals on the team with six, including her goal only 33 seconds in against Anderson on Oct. 9. This was the first time since November 2018, an Eagle scored in the first minute of action as well as the first time since September 2019 that an Eagle has scored in the first five minutes. Compiled a team-leading four assists, including on the game-winner against Newberry on Oct. 16. Fired off 50 shots, second-most on the team. with 25 shots on goal which led the Eagles in the category.
High School: Bryneus was appointed MVP a couple of times in her BK Astrio team. Her BK Astrio team won division 2 in 2020, moving onto division 1 play in 2021. She helped her team win several tournaments on the national level (Future Cup) and reached 1/8 in the Gothia cup.
Personal: Daughter of Annika Werner and Henrik Brynéus. She plans to major in business/marketing at Carson-Newman. Dad, Henrik, played college tennis. Brother, Oliver, plays college soccer at Stetson University. Mom, Annika, played soccer at the highest division in Sweden (Allsvenskan).
