Carson-Newman spirit squads set showcase, clinic for coming weeks
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's cheer and dance teams will play host to a showcase and a clinic in January and February.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's cheer and dance teams will play host to a showcase and a clinic in January and February.
The showcase is free to the public and can be found in the Maddox Student Activity Center 3-Gym. The cheer and dance teams will showcase their national routines for the upcoming UCA and UDA Nationals Sunday, January 12 at 7 p.m.
Following that on Feb. 9, both cheer and dance teams will put on a winter tryout clinic for high-school aged cheerleaders and dancers.
The clinic is designed for those who are interested in becoming collegiate cheerleaders. The clinic will also take place in the MSAC Three-Gym.

Time: 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $40
*Participants will pay for the clinic the day of by cash or check
