Carson-Newman Spirit Squad plays host to video tryouts through June
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's spirit squad is seeking video tryouts for its cheer and dance teams for the upcoming year.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's spirit squad is seeking video tryouts for its cheer and dance teams for the upcoming year.
Cheerleaders and dancers are encouraged to submit a tryout video to head cheer and dance coach Makyla Wyatt at mwyatt@cn.edu.
Dance videos should include your current school's fight song, a 30-second solo, triple pirouette and toe touch.
Cheer submissions should include your current school's fight song, your choice of a situational sideline, a stunt sequence (including a full down dismount), running tumbling and standing tumbling.
The deadline for consideration is June 30.
