2023: Curtis concluded his junior year as the Eagles' fourth-leading rusher.  He appeared in 10 games with two starts. he rushed 77 times for 274 yards and a team-best eight touchdowns.  His eight rushing scores were third-most in the SAC.  Curtis scored twice in the opener against Virginia-Lynchburg (Aug. 31).  He bruised his was to a career-best 20 carries and season-high 66 yards in a 14-10 win against Erskine (Oct. 14).  He scored a touchdown in five straight weeks from Sep. 30 at Newberry to Nov. 4 at UVA Wise.  He also caught six passes for 74 yards with a long of 28 at Newberry (Sep. 30).  

2022: Curtis wrapped up the season as the Eagles' third-leading rusher.  He was one of three offensive skill players to appear in all 11 games for the Eagles. He started in five of those contests.  Curtis ran for 448 yards on 81 carries for a team-best 5.4 yards a tote.  He found the end zone four times while averaging 39.6 yards per game.  Curtis tallied 103 yards on the ground in the regular season finale at Catawba (Nov. 12).  He did that on 11 touches and season-long 40 yard run. He found the end zone twice against the Indians and twice against No. 9 Newberry in the Eagles' upset win on Oct. 1.  He ran for more than 50 yards in four games.  Curtis also caught two passes for 15 yards.  

High School: Played running back at Parkview High School, averaging 10.4 yards per carry for the Panthers. Earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors. Was also a member of the track & field squad. 

Prior to Carson-Newman: Played one season at Dodge City Community College in Kansas.  

Personal: Son of Tracie and Ray Curtis. Chose C-N over Akron and Kent State. Intends to major in exercise science
