Bio

2022-23: Appeared in six games in his final season at Carson-Newman.  He scored 10 points on the year on 66.7 percent shooting. He made a three against Erskine (Nov. 26), the first of his career. 

2021-22: Battling back injuries for much of the year, Hadzic was fairly unstoppable as a reserve post player when he waas healthy.  In his first appearance on Jan. 5 against UVA Wise, he poured in nine points on flawless 3-of-3 shooting.  Hadzic followed that up with a career high  10 points in a career high 16 minutes at Catawba (1/12).  He averaged 4.2 points in his six games.  

2020-21: Hadzic came off the bench in five games as a reserve post player.  He made 3-of-7 shots and 3-of-4 free throws to fininsh with 1.8 points per game.  He snatched four rebounds in his debut against Limestone (2/1). He had a season-high five points against Mars Hill (2/18) on the road.  

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN:  As a sophomore, Had?i? appeared in 14 games, averaging 0.6 points and 0.8 rebounds on 4-of-10 shooting. His career high came against Bucknell when he scored five points. He played in one game as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played the 2017-18 season at Southwest Christian in Little Rock, Ark., where he helped the Lions to a 31-4 overall record and an appearance in the 2018 NACA National Championship game.

PERSONAL: The son of Milos and Dragana Had?i?, he plans to study exercise science at Carson-Newman. He was a member of the U-18 Serbian National team that earned a third-place finish at the 2016 3x3 European Championship. He also has extensive international basketball experience on his resume, including an invitation to the Serbian National U-18 Team Camp in 2016.
