Sunday doubleheader at Mars Hill postponed
MARS HILL, N.C. - Due to impending snow and rain in the forecast for the Tar Heel State, Carson-Newman and Mars Hill have postponed the series finale of their series to a later date that will be announced in the future the programs announced late Saturday evening.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Due to impending snow and rain in the forecast for the Tar Heel State, Carson-Newman and Mars Hill have postponed the series finale of their series to a later date that will be announced in the future the programs announced late Saturday evening.
The Eagles have won three straight games after dropping their first contest of the year scoring at least eight runs in each outing during this stretch with the team hitting .323 to start the year.
At the time of this writing, Carson-Newman's next outing will be the opening weekend of South Atlantic Conference play on Feb. 27 traveling to eighth-ranked Catawba for the first of a four-game series over two days starting at 1 p.m.
