Carson-Newman’s 2011 Baseball Season Opener Postponed Until Saturday

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Carson-Newman’s 2011 baseball season opener scheduled for Friday afternoon at Augusta State (Ga.) has been postponed due to heavy rains in the area. The Eagles will face the Jaguars in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Lake Olmstead Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Carson-Newman's 2011 baseball season opener scheduled for Friday afternoon at Augusta State (Ga.) has been postponed due to heavy rains in the area.

The Eagles will face the Jaguars in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Lake Olmstead Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for noon.

The two teams will play a single game on Sunday afternoon. A start time has yet to be announced.
