JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With the Division II NCAA Outdoor Championships just 12 days away, Carson-Newman track & field returns to Cleveland, Tennessee, for the second time as it heads to the Lee University Last Chance. Hence the name, it provides a final effort for athletes to hit the qualifying marks in their respective events.
EMORY, Va. – After two days filled with perseverance and strong performances, the Carson-Newman track and field teams both finished in the top four. The men’s side claimed third with 95.5 points, while the women’s took fourth, missing out on third by just one point, 88 points.

Rylan Jordan built off his strong first day at the Tennessee Invite with an impressive Saturday to conclude his weekend against stronger competition. The sophomore continues to top the time sheets in his respective events, cementing himself as one of the top sprinters in the nation.
In an action-packed weekend, Carson-Newman outdoor track and field splintered to three different events in a pair of states. It was a strong weekend, with plenty of personal records and bests being set for the Eagles.

LEXINGTON, Va. – It has been a tough indoor season to settle into, with long breaks and schedule adjustments, but Carson-Newman has weathered the storm. At the VMI Winter Relays, normalcy returned, and the Eagles set personal records and season bests throughout the weekend.
